While disproportionate to the body, excessively large breasts draw an aesthetic appearance, they can create various health problems. Breasts that can grow and sag due to genetic factors, hormonal changes, weight gain and breastfeeding can cause many ailments such as waist and back pain, hunchback and rash in women. The most effective and permanent solution for large breasts that can cause psychological problems such as feeling on all eyes, as well as physical problems such as not being able to wear the desired clothes, performing daily activities and exercising, is breast reduction surgery.
It is aimed to obtain smaller, symmetrical and upright breasts with breast reduction surgery. Due to the sagging of large breasts, it can be performed in combination with breast lift operation. This operation can be performed from the age of 18-20, when the development process is completed.
The techniques to be used in breast reduction surgery vary depending on the breast size of the person and whether pregnancy is planned in the future. However, while breast tissue is removed during the operation, milk ducts may be affected by this change, although not very often. For this reason, women who have not given birth before or who are considering giving birth again should be careful in choosing a doctor and health center. So much so that when the operation is performed with the right techniques and by specialist physicians, this risk is at a minimum level.
