Hair Transplantation in Turkey | With the technique known as Follicular Unit Transfer, briefly FUT, grafts are taken together with the tissue in a linear strip. The roots on the removed tissue strip are removed under a microscope and separated from their tissues and made ready for planting. Meanwhile, the hair follicles are not damaged at all. In addition, since the grafts are separated from their tissues, the channels to be opened for hair transplantation are smaller. Transplanted hair grows in a short time, as small channels do not interfere with blood circulation. Finally, the section taken from the tissue is closed by stitching, and a thin stitch scar remains in this area. The sutures are removed after about a week.
Advantages of FUT Technique:
FUE, which is the abbreviation of Folicular Unite Extraction, is the process of removing the hair follicles from the donor area one by one with a special tool and planting them on the balding area. FUE, which has started to be applied since 2006, soon overtook the FUT technique.
With the FUE method, the grafts are taken one by one with the help of a specially developed device without any incision, and transported to the balding area on the same day. With this device, which has special tips with a diameter of 0.7 and 0.8 mm, a large number of grafts can be removed from the donor area in one go. Also, after the hair transplantation performed with the FUE technique, there is no obvious scar in the head region. As in FUT technique, not cutting the tissue in strip form provides convenience to the doctor; saves time.

Advantages of FUE Technique:

Manuel Punch FUE, which is one of the lower branches of FUE technique, is a hair transplantation method performed with a pencil-like tool with a thickness of 0.75 mm to 1.35 mm.
2500 grafts can be removed during a hair transplant operation performed with the manual punch technique. These grafts are manually transferred to the balding area by an experienced doctor.
The advantages of manual punch FUE are as follows:
This technique is accepted as the safest method of hair transplantation due to the above advantages.
Sapphire FUE differs from the original FUE technique due to the sapphire tip used during the procedure. In this method, a pencil-like tool with a sapphire tip specially developed for this process is used to open the channels where hair follicles are planted.
In the first stage of hair transplantation, grafts are removed with great care and these are transported to the channels opened with a sapphire tipped tool. Opening the canals is the most important part of the hair transplantation procedure due to its effect on the density, angle and direction of the hair. At this stage, thanks to the fine sapphire tips, the grafts are transferred without damage to the balding area without any external factors.

Other advantages of Sapphire FUE hair transplantation are as follows:

Today’s most popular hair transplantation method, Direct Hair Implantation, is carried out by transferring DHI individually collected grafts to the balding area with the help of a pen-like hair transplantation tool called Choi Pen, whose thickness varies between 0.6 mm and 1 mm. In other hair transplantation methods, since the root collection and transfer operations performed in two different stages are completed in a single time in DHI hair transplantation, this method is also called direct hair transplantation.
Before the operation, the hair is shortened to make the operation comfortable, then the front hairline is designed. The grafts are carefully collected with a device specially developed for this process. After deciding which angle and direction is suitable for transplantation, the grafts are placed in the balding area without any incision.
DHI hair transplantation, besides providing successful results, requires both patient and doctor to be patient as it includes the transfer of individual grafts.
Advantages of the DHI Technique:
