After starting his Dentistry education at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, to take part in the founding staff.

He received the titles of “Doctor of Science” from this chair and “Prosthesis Specialist” from the Ministry of Health by completing his doctoral thesis on “Examination of Force Transmission in Implant Supported Porcelain Teeth in the Upper Jaw with Bone Grafts by Three-Dimensional Finite Elements Method”. In 2012, he worked as Assistant Professor at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Dentistry to take part in the establishment phase. Assoc. He worked as a Clinical and Formal Education-Teacher at undergraduate and graduate level for 5 years. He received the title of Associate Professor in the Associate Professor Exam in 2017 and was appointed to the Associate Professorship at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. He resigned from his duty at the University in 2018 and established DENTARMA Dental Aesthetics and Implantology Clinic and continued his clinical studies in his own clinic. Emre ŞEKER, who was appointed as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul Okan University in July 2021, returned to the Academy, and was appointed to the Professor Staff in April 2022. Giving undergraduate and graduate education at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Emre ŞEKER continues his clinical studies in his clinic in Eskişehir.

He has more than 30 articles in domestic and foreign journals and more than 50 papers in national and international congresses. His professional interests include implant-supported prostheses, Tomography-assisted 3D implant planning, CADCAM prosthetic systems, zirconium-laminate porcelains and smile design.
